Phoenix Inana is a vaudevillian and performance artist in Montreal. Known in the cabaret circuit for their bellydancing, burlesquing, and their genderbending drag as alter-alter-ego Slick Hardwood, Phoenix is a creature of many talents and perspectives.
In the last decade, they have written and produced countless vaudeville shows with their home troupe Glam Gam Productions. Themes of gender variance, political freedom and ethnic representation are integral to their work.
They have worked in venues all over the city, including the Wiggle Room, the Centaur, Never Apart, the MAI, and the famed Cafe Cleopatra, their home base.
